Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ShiftSign ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ShiftSign is a timesheet management platform enabling staffing agencies, their managers, and contractors to submit, review, approve, and export timesheets electronically. The platform also provides billing management, messaging, and reporting tools.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access

4. Subscription and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. Prices are in GBP and exclude VAT where applicable. Current plan prices:

• Starter: £49/month (up to 10 contractors)
• Growth: £149/month (up to 50 contractors)
• Pro: £349/month (unlimited contractors)

New agencies receive a 30-day free trial. No credit card is required during the trial. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Submit false, fraudulent, or misleading timesheet data
• Access or attempt to access accounts belonging to others
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the platform
• Transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful data

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including software, designs, logos, and text — are owned by ShiftSign and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ShiftSign shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may export your data before termination by contacting support.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users via email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
